2017 Kia Sorento Trims: L, LX, EX, LX V6, EX V6, SX V6 and SXL V6
The 2017 Kia Sorento is a beast, and the roads it's covered have the scars to prove it. But it also handles off-road riding with equal aplomb, as six trim of the 2017 Sorento's seven trim levels can come in available all-wheel drive versions, with added ruggedness and towing power, among other benefits.
If you would like the most fuel-efficient Sorento possible, then go for the base L or the LX trim, both of which get a sedan-like 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. You won't get the driver-assist features and tech here that comes in later trims, but the LX does have available UVO eServices, for starters, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and access to streaming music and song storage up to 8GB.
The EX trim is a hybrid between the base L trim and the ones that are to come, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that helps you get solid towing power (up to 3,500 pounds) and fuel economy (22 combined MPG). It also comes with UVO eServices, standard. But the real rugged Sorento trims are the four V6 options, which we'll soon cover.

The Kia Sorento Brings Style and Performance to Rochester Hills MI
Next up are the EX V6 and LX V6 trim levels, which come with added performance in 290 horsepower and towing power (up to 5,000 pounds), while the LX V6 has 17-inch wheels and the EX V6 jumps up to 18 inches. Finally, for the top-performing 2017 Kia Sorento (same HP and towing power as the LX V6 and EX V6 trims) and the most comprehensive technology package, go for the SX V6 or the SXL V6, with the SXL V6 the top-line that has standard features like a Surround-View Monitor, Forward Collision Warning System, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning System, among other great features to keep you safer (many of these are available for mid-line trims, but are optional and not standard). In addition, the SX V6 and SXL V6 have the largest tires for you to take a bite out of the terrain, at 19 inches, and they also are the two trims with navigation to go along with the robust UVO tech package.
